<p>This display apparatus for vehicles is provided with: a display unit (3) disposed on an upper part of an instrument panel (2) located under a front glass (1) within the vehicle compartment; an enlarging lens (4) extending vertically from the upper part of the instrument panel (2) and disposed closer to the rear of the vehicle than the display unit (3) such that a display on the display unit (3) can be shown as enlarged to the driver; and an opaque light blocking wall (7) extending from outer edge portions of the display unit (3) to at least near left and right positions (M, N) where first lines (LL1, LR1) connecting the left and right eyes of the driver with the outer edge portions on the corresponding sides of the enlarging lens (4) intersect a second line (L2) extending from the display unit (3) in the vehicle width direction.</p> |
