[Problem] To provide a transparent insulating laminate that is environmentally friendly due to the use of a compound of plant origin, that has excellent heat resistance and moisture and water resistance, and that exhibits high adhesiveness and transparency; also to provide a flexible printed circuit board that uses this laminate. [Solution] A transparent insulating laminate having a transparent insulating layer on at least one side of a transparent supporting body, the transparent insulating layer containing a specific polymer including a structure derived from dehydroabietic acid in the main chain.
