<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocoupler device capable of solving the cost problem and the alignment problem and capable of maintaining insulation between a light-emitting element and a light-receiving element, which have different operation voltages. <P>SOLUTION: An n-type semiconductor layer 2, an absorption layer 3, and a p-type semiconductor layer 4 are stacked on a transparent insulating substrate 1 and form a PD. An n-type semiconductor layer 5, an active layer 6, and a p-type semiconductor layer 7 are stacked downward in this order on a back surface of the transparent insulating substrate 1 and form an LED. The transparent insulating substrate 1, which is arranged between the LED on a low-voltage side and the PD on a high-voltage side, has a withstand voltage greater than a voltage difference between an operation voltage of a light-emitting element and an operation voltage of a light-receiving element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
