<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having a thin and uniform shell layer on a core surface, thereby, the toner having sufficient low-temperature fixability even in a high-speed machine and having high heat-resistant storage property and excellent durability without being crushed by agitation in a developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge development contains at least a styrene-acrylic binder resin, a polyester resin and a colorant. In the toner, the polyester resin is subjected to a styrene-acrylic modification process, and a ratio A (mol%) of acrylic monomers in the toner, a ratio B (mol%) of the polyester in the toner, and a styrene-acrylic modification ratio C (mol%) in the polyester resin satisfy the expressions (1), (2) and (3). They are (1):9.5≤A≤23.7, (2):57.5≤B≤87.2, and (3):17≤C≤26.5 (where, all numbers are in units of mol%). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
