<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for a vertically circulating parking apparatus, which prevents interference between a bottom of a vehicle and a pallet center portion even when the vehicle of a low height is loaded in the cage, and allows loading of a vehicle having wide tires. <P>SOLUTION: A pallet 11A of the cage has a flat area 11a where an upper surface of a vehicle path for loading the vehicle is formed almost flat in the width direction.
