<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: the accident due to malfunction occurs when setting a workpiece, the setting of the workpiece is difficult, etc. <P>SOLUTION: This press has: a base plate 1 which is installed on the upper surface of the bolster B of the press; a fixed die 2 which is installed in the region on this side of the slide S of the press on the upper surface of the base plate 1; a movable die 3 which is installed movably in the back and forth direction behind the fixed die 2 on the upper surface of the base plate 1; a pressurizing plate 4 which is fixed just under the slide S; a first link 5, the lower end of which is attached pivotally in the rear of the movable die 3 on the base plate 1; a second link 6, the lower end of which is attached pivotally on the rear end face of the movable die 3; and a bearing 7 which is provided so as to be slidable in the backward and forward on the under surface of the pressurizing plate 4 on which the upper ends of the first and second links 5, 6 are attached pivotally. Because the fixed die 2 is installed in front of the slide S of the press by sliding the movable die 3 by converting the vertical movement of the slide S into the horizontal direction, the setting of the workpiece is made possible without inserting a hand in the lower part of the slide S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
