摘要 Provided are: a method for manufacturing a positive-electrode active material for a lithium ion secondary cell that produces a positive-electrode active material having an excellent initial capacity, cycle life, and rate characteristics; and a positive electrode for a lithium ion secondary cell and a lithium ion secondary cell that use the positive-electrode active material for a lithium ion secondary cell. The manufacturing method comprises bringing a lithium-containing complex oxide including the element Li and a transition metal element, a composition (1) [an aqueous solution having at least one metal element (m) and including negative ions (M)], and a composition (2) [an aqueous solution having at least one element (n) selected from the group S, P, F, and B, and including positive ions (N) that react with the negative ions (M) to form a poorly-soluble salt] into contact with each other, the ratio of the total amount A (ml/100 g) of the composition (1) and the composition (2) brought in contact with 100 g of the lithium-containing complex oxide to the oil absorption B (ml/100 g) of the lithium-containing complex oxide being 0.1 < A/B < 5.
