<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a playback speed synchronization device that appropriately controls playback speed of contents in conjunction with breathing affected by emotion and activity level of an appreciator. <P>SOLUTION: A playback speed synchronization device comprises: a breathing emotional component extraction unit for extracting an emotional breathing period based on a plurality of breathing periods respectively corresponding to plural times of breathing, using breathing information of an appreciator; a basic playback speed calculation unit for calculating a basic sample update interval which becomes longer as the emotional breathing period becomes longer; a content playback speed control unit for updating, in a sample update interval which is a time interval corresponding to the basic sample update interval, content information for replay included in content information, each pieces of content information corresponding to each of a plurality of playback positions along a time axis, and for outputting playback information representing the content information for playback. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
