<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the balance between rolling resistance and wet performance. <P>SOLUTION: The modified diene-based rubber is prepared by denaturing diene-based rubber comprising natural rubber and/or synthetic isoprene rubber, so as to contain an epoxy group that is generated by oxidation of double bond portions in the main chain of the diene-based rubber and an amino group-containing group that binds to the main chain of the diene-based rubber and is represented by the formula: -A<SB POS="POST">n</SB>-NHR<SP POS="POST">1</SP>(where A is a 1-9C divalent group, n is 0 or 1, and R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is a hydrogen or an alkyl group), wherein the content of the epoxy group ranges from 5 to 25 mol% with respect to the amount of isoprene units, the content of the amino group-containing group ranges from 0.5 to 10 mol% with respect to the amount of isoprene units, and the molar ratio of the amino group-containing group to the epoxy group (amino group-containing group/epoxy group) ranges from 0.05 to 0.5. The rubber composition contains 10 to 120 pts.mass of silica with respect to 100 pts.mass of a rubber component containing the modified diene-based rubber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
