RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE, INFORMATION TERMINAL, AND DEVICE COOPERATION SYSTEM OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing device capable of improving usability by presenting a user with a piece of information which triggered a reservation made by the user of recording a program according to a piece of information for presenting the user after the reservation of the recording with the piece of information which triggered the reservation made by the user of recording the program.

SOLUTION: The recording and reproducing device comprises: a reservation information source management unit for associating a piece of information for presenting a user after a reservation of recording with a piece of information which triggered the reservation made by the user of recording a program with one or more of a piece of information for identifying uniquely a program to be recorded, a piece of information for identifying a device on which a program recording was reserved, and a state which shows whether a transmission of a reservation information source is being held or not, and storing them; a reservation information source control unit for processing information managed by the reservation information source management unit; and an output unit for outputting a piece of information which triggered the reservation made by the user of recording a program onto a monitor.
