<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disconnect a communication channel for transmitting a communication parameter without requiring user's time and effort after a receiver acquires the communication parameter. <P>SOLUTION: A parameter transmitter 102 transmits a communication parameter to a parameter receiver 103 via a first communication channel, and searches for the parameter receiver 103 in a second communication channel to which the parameter receiver 103 connects by using the communication parameter.
