<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that can be made thinner by reducing the size between a light guide plate and a display panel, and a television receiver with the display device. <P>SOLUTION: By engagement of a screw 50, edge portions of a bottom part 31a and an opening 20a press a display panel 10 and a light guide plate 11 through an elastic member 14. Thereby, the display panel 10 and the light guide plate 11 are held by a front cabinet 20 and a rear cabinet 30 from front and back to shorten the size between the light guide plate 11 and the display panel 10 without interposing a support member between the display panel 10 and the light guide plate 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
