<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a heterogeneous computer system. <P>SOLUTION: A heterogeneous computer system includes: at least one high-performance processor 620; a processor supporting logic circuit 6410 that supports execution of tasks of software by the high-performance processor 620; and a hypervisor processor 610 that consumes less power than the high-performance processor 620. The hypervisor processor 610 executes tasks of the software capable of being processed with the throughput of the hypervisor processor and puts the high-performance processor 620 in a power-saving state, the hypervisor processor cancels the power-saving state of the high-performance processor 620 and causes the high-performance processor to execute tasks of the software incapable of being processed with the throughput of the hypervisor processor, or the high-performance processor 620 and the hypervisor processor 610 simultaneously execute tasks of the software requiring the combined throughput of all the processors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
