<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of rapidly restarting data communication. <P>SOLUTION: A communication apparatus 31 stores a node ID (a normal node ID) acquired in an identification phase in a register 41. The communication apparatus 31 includes a setting register 42. The setting register 42 stores a node ID (a fixed node ID) different from the node ID (the normal node ID). The communication apparatus 31 receives a packet addressed to the normal node ID and processes the received packet.
