<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure the luminance of a light emitting part on a switch surface or a display screen having a step. <P>SOLUTION: An image of a work 10 including a point to measure luminance is captured by an imaging section 28 and on the basis of a focusing state of the image detected by a focusing degree calculation section 50, a focal point is aligned with a front face of the work 10.
