<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method that selectively removes only noise from a signal including noise having a random and not constant pattern, in particular salt-and-pepper noise having no regularity, while causing the least effect possible on a signal component, as well as an image processing device, and a drug development support device using these. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing method controls filter processing operation for removing noise on the basis of pixel value distribution of random noise, the appearance position of which is impossible to predict.
