<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink droplet ejection head, which is accurate in end positions of a liquid repellent layer, has little deviation of droplet discharge characteristics, and is good in ink filling performance and bubble-ejecting performance. <P>SOLUTION: The droplet ejection head includes: a nozzle part area in which a plurality of nozzle holes for ejecting droplets exist; a liquid chamber part area in which at least part of the liquid chamber in communication with the nozzle holes exists; and a pressure generation means for pressuring the liquid body in the liquid chamber and ejecting the droplet from the nozzle holes. The method for manufacturing the droplet ejection head in which the liquid repellent layer is formed at a discharge surface side opposite to the liquid chamber side of the nozzle holes includes: a step of integrating the nozzle part area and the liquid chamber part area as a nozzle/liquid chamber member using the common compositional materials; a step of adhering a conductive structure to the opposite side to the discharge surface side of the integrated nozzle/liquid chamber member to ground and hold them; a step of charging a liquid repellent agent after being microparticulated; and a step of applying the charged microparticulated liquid repellent agent to the discharge surface side to form the liquid repellent layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
