<p>[Problem] To provide a zoom lens having a high variable power ratio while enabling a reduction in size and an increase in performance. [Solution] A zoom lens comprising, in order from the object side, a positive first lens group (1G), a negative second lens group (2G), a positive third lens group (3G), a positive fourth lens group (4G), and a negative fifth lens group (5G). When zooming from the wide angle end to the telephoto end, the clearance (d12) between the first lens group (1G) and second lens group (2G) is always increased, the clearance (d23) between the second lens group (2G) and third lens group (3G) is always decreased, the clearance (d34) between the third lens group (3G) and fourth lens group (4G) is always decreased, the clearance (d45) between the fourth lens group (4G) and the fifth lens group (5G) is changed, and all of the lens groups are displaced relative to the imaging position. If fW represents the focal distance of the entire lens system at the wide angle end, and f1 represents the focal distance of the first lens group (1G), conditional expression (D): 0.10W/f1<0.25 is satisfied.</p> |
