<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refined menu in which as a menu an entire screen is not expressed again and a button is not added or removed to or from the screen dynamically. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method for generating a menu on a screen including menu buttons (BG81, ..., and BG86') and other menu items (e.g., a help text). In the method, one group or a plurality of groups of the menu buttons or the menu items are specified, and the group includes one or more of the menu buttons or menu items, and is associated with a prescribed area on the screen, and an "enabled" (operable) state or a "disabled" (inoperable) state is assigned to the buttons, and only the enabled buttons can be displayed, and one of the buttons or one of the items in the group is enabled, and the state of the button can be changed by a command related to another button. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
