<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of obtaining, from an input image, a high-quality image without any halo and with high contrast from a dark part to a bright part. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device 10 includes an illumination light component calculating section 12 for calculating, for an input image, illumination light components from the brightness of a pixel of interest and the brightness of peripheral pixels, and performs gradation conversion processing on the basis of the illumination light components. When calculating the illumination light components, the illumination light component calculating section 12 acquires distance information representing a distance to a subject in the input image, changes the weighting to the brightness on the basis of a difference between the distance information corresponding to the pixel of interest and distance information corresponding to the peripheral pixels, and differentiates a region to be referred to as the peripheral pixels according to the distance information corresponding to the pixel of interest. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
