<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device capable of certainly holding a position of a moving unit supported by a ball so as not to limit a range which can be held, without providing a driving member except for a driving member for moving the moving unit. <P>SOLUTION: A holding device 30 includes a lever member 33 which makes friction generating members 37A and 37B abut on a moving unit when positioned at a first lever position or a second lever position; and a first energizing member 39 making the lever member 33 apply first energizing force P2 in a first lever rotating direction. The holding device 30 includes: an abutting portion 42 abutting on the lever member 33 at the first lever position to move the lever member in a second lever rotating direction to the second lever position against the first energizing portion P2; and a cam plate 45 holding the lever member 33 at the second lever position against the first energizing force P2 while the lever member 33 is moved to the second lever position and the lever member 33 and the abutting portion 42 are not contacted with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
