<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling performance mainly of a stator of an electric motor in an electric tool having as a driving source an outer rotor type electric motor provided with a rotor at the outer peripheral side of the stator. <P>SOLUTION: A stator supporting member 14 for supporting a stator 12 with respect to a motor housing 11 is formed of a metal material, and a core of the stator 12 is placed in direct-contact with the stator supporting member 14.
