<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device that can relax the constraint of the number of virtual networks due to the numbers of rules and queues that can be mountable on one relay device while realizing the minimum bandwidth guarantee. <P>SOLUTION: A relay device comprises: a plurality of queues; a band control rule table 6 which has stored a queue identifier corresponding to each specification condition composed of a value of a prefix bit string consisting of a virtual network identifier and the length of prefix specifying a range to be referenced; a packet reception processing unit 2 which searches for a specification condition corresponding to the longest prefix length among specification conditions on the band control rule table 6 corresponding to a virtual network identifier extracted from a received packet and stores the packet in the corresponding queue; and a scheduler 32 which performs scheduling of packet transmission and reads out a packet to be transmitted from a queue on the basis of the result of scheduling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
