The present invention relates to an ex vivo method for predicting the responsiveness of a patient affected with an osteosarcoma to chemotherapy, comprising the step of determining the level expression of at least one marker selected in the group consisting of ß5 integrin, FAK or GSK-3ß in a tumor sample from said patient. Moreover, the invention relate to an antagonist of ß5 integrin, FAK or GSK-3ß or an inhibitor of the expression of ß5 integrin, FAK or GSK-3ß for use in a method for enhancing clinical efficiency of chemotherapy.
