<p>The usefulness and performance of online advertising campaigns can be significantly improved by targeting potential customers based on relevant criteria and identifying geographic regions where new business potential can be maximized. The present invention improves the accuracy and effectiveness of online advertising by analyzing client historical sales data, geographically referenced attribute data, and geographic boundary data into a collection of one or more shape-optimized polygons, each defined by a series of three or more geographic coordinates, which is overlaid on top of associated geographic maps to delineate a geographic advertisement boundary condition. These sets of polygons are then used for geotargeting advertisements to potential customers across a variety of online ad platforms.</p> |
