<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a promoter for new environmental durability to promote tolerance of a plant against an environmental condition, and to provide the plant. <P>SOLUTION: The promoter for environmental durability contains boron, silicon and aluminum, and further may contain selenium. As a raw material for the promoter, for example coal ash such as fly ash can be used.
