<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which prevents the generation of a wrinkle on a transferred material by smoothly inserting the transferred material in a nip portion, and prevents the generation of bleeding in an image, even if the transferred material is curled. <P>SOLUTION: On an upstream side in a paper carrying direction from a nip portion N between a fixing roller 11 and a pressurizing roller 12, a guide member 14 contacting with an unfixed toner image forming surface and the other side surface of carried paper P, and guiding the paper P to the nip portion N is provided. The guide member 14 is composed of a long slender platy base portion 140; and rocking portions 142a and 142b rockably journaled by a rocking supporting portion 141 at both ends in a longitudinal direction. The rocking portions 142a and 142b can move to normal positions which are on the same plane with the base portion 140, and projecting positions separated from the pressurizing roller 12 compared with the normal positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
