<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a joining member capable of spreading a liquid resin in the proper quantity between members. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for manufacturing a joining member includes a liquid resin coating device 21 coating a coating surface Df with the liquid resin G, a first holder 11 holding a first member D, a second holder 31 holding a second member P, a thickening means 41 thickening the liquid resin G, and a controller 60.
