<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect microorganisms from constantly the same depth even when the thickness of a medium varies in the case where the microorganisms are collected by sticking a collecting pin into the medium. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method using the collecting pin in which a leading end portion formed at a lower end is retained so as to be capable of inserting/removing into/from a breeding ground, and a driving mechanism of a collecting pin in which the collecting pin is slidably supported in a vertical axis direction and the collecting pin is driven up and down in the vertical axis direction while retaining the collecting pin at the bottom position of a sliding process in a free state. The method includes, after the collecting pin is moved down by the driving mechanism of the collecting pin and the collecting pin is stuck into a breeding ground of an incubator by its self load, collecting microorganisms from the breeding ground by moving up the collecting pin by the driving mechanism of the collecting pin and removing the collecting pin from the breeding ground. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
