<p>This camera system comprises: a fixing member; a drive source; a focusing lens; a drive unit for driving the focusing lens in the optical axis direction, the drive unit being driven by the drive source; an engagement-receiving rotating member capable of rotating about the optical axis; an operating ring that can be placed at a first position and a second position in the optical axis direction; an operating ring position detection means for detecting the position of the operating ring in the optical axis direction; an engaging means for engaging the engagement-receiving rotating member and the operating ring when the operating ring is at the second position, and disengaging the engagement-receiving rotating member and the operating ring when the operating ring is at the first position; and a control means for driving the focusing lens in accordance with the rotation when the operating ring at the first position is rotated, and driving the focusing lens in accordance with the relative movement position of the engagement-receiving rotating member and the fixed member when the operating ring is at the second position.</p> |
