PURPOSE: An automatic pipe welding apparatus is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by moving a transfer device along a circular rail without a separate device or structure for transfer installed on the circular rail. CONSTITUTION: An automatic pipe welding apparatus comprises a circular rail(100), a transfer device(200), and a welding device(300). The circular rail comprises two semi-circular rings which are coupled with each other on one side by a hinge(110) and detachably coupled with each other on the other side by a fastener(120). Two protruding guides(130) are formed along the inner periphery of the circular rail. A plurality of elastic supporter(140) are formed between the protruding guides. The transfer device comprises transfer roller parts formed on both sides of a base plate, wherein front and rear frictional rollers of the transfer roller parts are rotated toward the center of the circular rail. The welding device is placed on the top of the base plate, and the welding device comprises a torch assembly in which a rotary body is integrally formed with a rotary motor to rotate a torch(351), a main body for transferring the torch assembly back and forth, and a controller performing electric control for welding.
