PURPOSE: A method for electrolytic parting of tin in waste metal using an alkali solution is provided to selectively leach and separate tin from waste metal by assigning tin-containing waste metal as an anode and precipitating tin leached from the anode at a cathode. CONSTITUTION: In a method for electrolytic parting of tin in waste metal using an alkali solution, a cathode and an anode are installed in an alkali solution to implement electrolytic parting, wherein tin-containing waste metal is used as the anode so that leached tin is precipitated at the cathode. The temperature of the alkali solution is maintained at 60-90°C during electrolytic parting.
