<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert chloropropane represented by following formula (1): CCl<SB POS="POST">3</SB>-CCl<SB POS="POST">(2-m)</SB>H<SB POS="POST">(m)</SB>-CCl<SB POS="POST">(3-n)</SB>H<SB POS="POST">n</SB>(1), such as 1,1,1,2,3-pentachloropropane into an unsaturated compound represented by following formula (2): CCl<SB POS="POST">2</SB>=CCl<SB POS="POST">(2-m)</SB>H<SB POS="POST">(m-1)</SB>-CCl<SB POS="POST">(3-n)</SB>H<SB POS="POST">n</SB>(2) into 1,1,2,3-tetrachloropropene in excellent selectivity and conversion rate (in the formulas (1) and (2), m is 1 or 2, and n is an integer 0 to 3). <P>SOLUTION: In the presence of anhydrous aluminum chloride as a catalyst, dehydrochlorination occurs, and thereby the chloropropane represented by the formula (1) is easily converted into the chloropropene represented by the formula (2). When the chloropropane represented by the formula (1) is 1,1,1,2,3-pentachloropropane, 1,1,2,3-tetrachloropropene is obtained at the reaction temperature of 90-140°C in the reaction time of about 0.5-10 hours, and at the yield of ≥95%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
