<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for directly collecting a nucleic acid from biological samples such as feces or the like, reducing carryover of impurities originated from the biological samples, and collecting nucleic acid with high purity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for collecting nucleic acid from biological samples is characterized by comprising: (A) a process of mixing the biological samples with a cytolytic agent to prepare a suspension; (B) a process of centrifugally treating the suspension prepared in the process (A) to collect supernatant as a crude nucleic acid solution; and (C) a process of collecting nucleic acid from the crude nucleic acid solution collected in the process (B), wherein a treatment of bringing into contact with chemical fibers or natural fibers (excluding fibers of silica compounds) is applied to the suspension prepared in the process (A) before the process (B), to the crude nucleic acid solution collected in the process (B) before the process (C), and to the collected nucleic acid after the process (C). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
