The sound-absorbing arrangement is provided with ashlar-formed containers with fibrous or porous absorption material and a room-sided encasing around the container, where containers are arranged in the corners or edges of the room on a wall or the roof and its encasings are designed sound-proof or sound-permeable. All sides of the edge-absorber facing the room are designed sound-proof and only one side arranged inclined, essentially vertical to the wall or the roof is designed absorbing with a small surface.
