ABRASION-RESISTANT COATING COMPOSITION WITH SELF-COOLING CHARACTERISTICS

PURPOSE: A wear-resistant coating composition having self-cooling property and concurrently showing heat resistance and abrasion resistance is provided to enhance abrasion resistance. CONSTITUTION: A wear-resistant coating composition comprises 0.1-3 wt% of silanized reactive hydroxide inorganic compound, 4-25 weight% of epoxy resin, 1-5 weight% of curing agent, and residual solvent. A manufacturing method of the coating composition comprises the following steps: silanized reacting reactive hydroxide inorganic compound; adding silanized reactive hydroxide inorganic compound and epoxy resin to solvent and agitating thereof; and adding curing agent to a mixture in which the silanized reactive hydroxide inorganic compound and the epoxy resin are added and agitating the mixture.
