<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing ethanol from a lignocellulose raw material which has a high production efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The increase of the production amount of ethanol is enabled by solid-liquid separating culture liquid using lignocellulose as the raw material, and obtained after concurrent saccharification and fermentation, using a screw press having a screen size of 1.0 to 2.0 mm, selectively recovering fine fibers not removed in the solid-liquid separation step, through sieve processing using 80 to 600 mesh, and further subjecting the recovered fine fibers as a raw material to the saccharification or concurrent saccharification and fermentation. Furthermore, by adding an electrolyte within the process, the increase of the production amount of the ethanol becomes possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
