<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable ink composition excellent in solubility of a component contained in the composition, wherein an image recorded by using the composition is excellent in light resistance and curability. <P>SOLUTION: The photocurable ink composition comprises a polymerizable compound, a photopolymerization initiator, and an ultraviolet absorbing agent. The polymerizable compound contains a compound expressed by the formula (1): CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>=CR<SP POS="POST">1</SP>-COOR<SP POS="POST">2</SP>-O-C<SB POS="POST">6</SB>H<SB POS="POST">6</SB>. The photopolymerization initiator contains an acylphosphine oxide-based compound. The content of the ultraviolet absorbing agent is 0.1 to 5 mass%. When a film having a thickness of 10 μm is formed by using the photocurable ink composition, the transmittance of light with a wavelength of 370 to 410 nm is 50% or more; and the transmittance of light with a wavelength of 300 to 380 nm is 50% or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
