<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with reduced contact failure and improved contact stability. <P>SOLUTION: A connector 10 includes a plug 11 and a receptacle 21 fitted with each other. The plug has a plate-like or a sheet-like connection object 13, a ground shell 14 isolated on one side of the connection object, and a guide 17 covering the connection object and a tip of the ground shell. The receptacle includes a contact 23, and an actuator 24 having a cam action part 24a of an actuator made of a material different from the ground shell.
