<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good image by performing appropriate correction processing according to gradation of an input image and suppressing banding. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus for forming an image with a device periodically moved by an electrophotographic system comprises: control means for controlling image formation with the device; acquirement means for acquiring a phase for the device corresponding to a target pixel; a correction amount calculation means for calculating a correction amount for correcting variations in density caused by the device, according to an input value representing the target pixel and the phase; and correction means for correcting the input value representing the target pixel using the correction amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
