<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that is improved in running durability and driving stability in a well-balanced manner and includes a carcass cord using lyocell fiber. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a lyocell having a higher coefficient of elasticity relative to rayon, as a fiber cord constituting a carcass layer 3.
