<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that discharge current runs when a load is connected between external terminals EB+ and EB- even after a charge inhibition signal is input from an input terminal and a charge control transistor turns off, and a charge and discharge control circuit 22 consumes electric power. <P>SOLUTION: A charge and discharge control circuit for controlling charging and discharging of a secondary cell includes: a switch circuit that controls an electric current running through the charge and discharge control circuit; a control circuit that controls the operation of the switch circuit; and an input terminal into which a signal for controlling the operation of the charge and discharge control circuit is input from the outside. When a signal is input into the input terminal from the outside, a discharge current is cut off, thus suppressing current consumption of the charge and discharge control circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
