<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sequentially detect the amount of remaining toner from full to empty, and accurately detect the toner remaining amount even when an agitation member moves at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: The time when a capacitance sensor IC33 detects electrostatic capacitance between a detected electrode 361 and a capacitance sensor electrode F321 and the time when the capacitance sensor IC33 detects electrostatic capacitance between the detected electrode 361 and a capacitance sensor electrode S322 are measured, to determine the amount of toner on the basis of a difference D between the measured times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
