<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact tool which is improved to enhance a higher dustproof effect. <P>SOLUTION: The impact tool includes a tool holder 153 and an engaging member 157. The engaging member 157 is moved between a bit holding position where it is engaged with a tool bit 119 inserted into a bit insertion hole 153a with respect to the tool holder 153 to restrict the come-off thereof, and a bit releasing position where it is disengaged therefrom to permit the come-off. The engaging member 157 and the tool holder 153 can be integrally moved in the long axis direction of the tool bit. They are moved between a bit fixing position where the engaging member 157 is placed at the bit holding position to be kept in a state of being engaged with the tool bit 119, and a bit removal permitting position where the engaging member 157 is placed at the bit releasing position to permit its disengagement from the tool bit 119. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
