<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably cause a driver to recognize information associated with an object around a moving body. <P>SOLUTION: An information display device comprises: a detecting section for detecting whether or not an object exists in at least a part of the surroundings of a moving body, a direction of the object with respect to the moving body and a distance between the moving body and the object; a steering section that is rotatable about a rotary shaft and is used for steering the moving body; a displaying section that displays a detection result of the detecting section and is provided in at least a part of the steering section so as to correspond to the surroundings; and a controller that determines whether or not the detection result is to be displayed by the displaying section on the basis of the direction and the distance, and in the case where the detection result is determined to be displayed by the displaying section, causes the displaying section to display the detection result at a predetermined angular position corresponding to the aforementioned direction about the rotary shaft without regard to the steering angle of the steering section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
