<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve connection with short-distance wiring without increasing size even when using a photoelectric conversion element consisting of high definition pixels which photoelectrically converts subject luminous flux emitted from a penta roof prism. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a penta roof prism 205 for guiding subject luminous flux to a finder; a photoelectric conversion element 101 for photoelectrically converting the subject luminous flux emitted from the penta roof prism; an A/D conversion circuit 102 for A/D converting a signal from the photoelectric conversion element; a signal processing circuit 103 for processing a signal from the A/D conversion circuit; a rigid flexible circuit board 209 having rigid printed circuit boards 209a and 209b capable of double-face mounting circuit elements; and a holding member 208 for holding the rigid flexible circuit boards so that the rigid flexible circuit boards are arranged in parallel via a space for roof surfaces 205a and 205b.
