<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator that can improve the visibility of objects stored in the inside of a storage case 10. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator 1 includes: a storage compartment 5 having an opening in the front surface; a storage case 10 for storing objects to be stored, and supported such that the storage case freely slides back and forth; and an illumination device 30 for illuminating the inside of the storage case 10.
