The invention relates to an optoelectronic semiconductor component, which comprises a substrate (2) and at least one semiconductor chip (1) arranged on the substrate. The semiconductor chip (1) has an active layer (1a) suitable for producing radiation. Conducting tracks are arranged on the substrate (2) in order to electrically contact the semiconductor chip (1). The semiconductor chip (1) is enclosed by a potting material (5). The potting material (5) comprises at least a first, a second, and a third potting layer (5a, 5b, 5c), which differ from one another in the material composition thereof and/or optical and/or chemical properties thereof. The invention further relates to a method for producing such a semiconductor component.
