METHOD OF EVALUATION FOR STRUCTURAL SAFETY TO BLAST LOADS

PURPOSE: A structure stability evaluation method for explosion loads is provided to accurately calculate a response of a non-linear area in a structure. CONSTITUTION: A DAF(dynamic amplification factor) is multiplied with an deducted displacement according to nonlinear static analysis. Dynamic maximum displacement is acquired by a multiplication method. The DAF is applied regardless of the duration of explosion loads. The maximum of the DAF is 1.5. The nonlinear static displacement is calculated by an implicit method.
