PURPOSE: A low current latch circuit maintaining the current condition and minimizing the battery consumption, and an operation method thereof are provided to apply the memory resistance for the current transition for minimizing the current when the starting power is turned off. CONSTITUTION: A low current latch circuit includes a switching unit(400), a battery power unit(100), a current transition unit(200), and a latch circuit unit(500). The switching unit turns on and off the start power. The battery power unit supplies regular electricity. The current transition unit is connected to the battery power unit, and converts the regular current into the low current. The latch circuit unit maintains the current condition by outputting the regular current. The current transition unit includes memory resistance.
